Purchasing used furniture, especially a used desk can be a financially sound decision in the longer run; most of the time there is no risk involved with it too, especially if you consider the fact that you can get a much nicer and somewhat heavier used desk than you would get a new one for the same price.
For office interior design however, it doesn’t matter whether or not the furniture you bought is new or old, as the office interior design relies purely on the esthetics, and design of the furniture as well as the space utilization instead. This means it’s the type of furniture you use which makes your space special.
Buying a used desk isn’t much of a struggle, it’s a much cheaper alternative to buying new and if someone is getting rid of their heavy old desk (which is a lot of the time in great condition) then you can pick it up and use it for your own purposes.
At the end of the day, buying used anything is only bad if it is in terrible condition, if you’re getting something which is in good standing and costs less, getting it used isn’t going to be harmful.
